Music is the language of the angles said Thomas Carlyle. But I had to learn that some people think otherwise:
Some years ago I heard from our neighbors, that they are very happy, that their Turkish neighbor went home to Turkey, because he always sung loudly with his family in his garden. That was too strange and noisy for them. They liked the noise of their lawn mowers better.
Last years I celebrated Christmas with my Muslim, Christian, Hindu and other religion and atheist…friends and we enjoyed to sing Christmas carols together.
Last years I also sung Mantras and international songs with friends and I was excluded from my own family because of this.
This year I sung Christmas songs with children of refugees and they enjoyed it very much and we had a lot of fun making music with clapping hands and spoons for the rhythm. We talked about love which comes from God. At the end of our singing the kids didn`t want to stop. I had already a sore throat, but they wanted more…
Now some of the Muslim children are not allowed anymore to lighten candles and sing along with us. Some parents upheld this is unislamic. I could not find it anywhere in Koran, that it is forbidden to make children happy.
The songs we sang were also harmless: Kling Glöckchen, an old folk tune and Leise rieselt der Schnee.
Will drin wohnen fröhlich, frommes Kind, wie selig. Kling, Glöckchen, klingelingeling, kling, Glöckchen, kling! | Ring, little bell, ringalingaling, Ring, little bell, ring! Let me in, you kids, So cold is the winter, Open the doors for me, Don’t let me freeze! Ring, little bell, ringalingaling, Ring, little bell, ring! Ring, little bell, ringalingaling, Ring, little bell, ring! Girls, listen, and boys, Open up the room for me, I bring you many gifts, You should enjoy them! Ring, little bell, ringalingaling, Ring, little bell, ring! Ring, little bell, ringalingaling, Ring, little bell, ring! Brightly glow the candles, Open your hearts to me! I want to live there happily, Devout child, how blessed! Ring, little bell, ringalingaling,Ring, little bell, ring!

Is n`t it bettefor Kids to sing Christmas carols instead of playing computer games like „Hungry Shark Evolution“, which one of the six year old kids was playing, when I first time met the family?
Here you can sing along with me my favorite song:

The world has become a strange place, indeed. Is it not so that the different cutlures and religions rather tend ot confront each other than to mingle? You are right, People should realize that God is in everything and you cand praize him/her im many forms…
